Pre-Requisites & Admission Information for BC Residents
- Courses must be credit courses or CE management studies chosen from a regular program offered by an accredited post-secondary institution in Canada recognized by BC Institute PMAC.
- Only full semester length courses are accepted.
- Courses taken at trade or vocational schools or private colleges are not eligible.
Assessment of Foreign University Degrees for Prerequsities
If you have a post secondary degree or diploma achieved outside of Canada, you must first go to an International Credentialing Education Services (ICES) or like organization for verification. The ICES organization located at the BCIT website contains information on what they need from you. Please note that it could take up to 8 weeks for ICES to complete their verification. In order for BCIPMAC to complete an accreditation assessment we must receive an original Comprehensive Report in English from ICES along with your application form.

As Premier of the Province of British Columbia, I would like to congratulate the BC Institute of the Purchasing Management Association of Canada as you prepare to launch the redesigned Strategic Supply Chain Management Leadership Program in BC.
I understand that this improved three year accreditation program is a leader in its field in Canada, and that successful graduates will be highly trained in consulting, operations, logistics and transportation. As we look forward to strengthening trade relationships with countries in the Asia Pacific region and in other areas around the world, we will increasingly rely on professionals with the knowledge and understanding of markets, trade and supply and demand, to strengthen and enhance British Columbia’s economic future.
