A message from the Premier of British Columbia on the launch of PMAC's Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) Designation Program

As Premier of the Province of British Columbia, I would like to congratulate the BC Institute of the Purchasing Management Association of Canada as you prepare to launch the redesigned Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) Designation Program in BC.

I understand that this improved three year accreditation program is a leader in its field in Canada, and that successful graduates will be highly trained in consulting, operations, logistics and transportation. As we look forward to strengthening trade relationships with countries in the Asia Pacific region and in other areas around the world, we will increasingly rely on professionals with the knowledge and understanding of markets, trade and supply and demand, to strengthen and enhance British Columbia’s economic future.
